GOOD NEWS
Few people previously had the privilege of enjoying their holiday in a Guest House due to unaffordable tariffs. We are making it possible for the average man in the street due to our low rates. People don’t have to stay in a flat anymore where they have to do their own cooking, dishes and cleaning.

LOCATION
Graceland Guest House is situated 30 kilometers south of Durban. Amanzimtoti is one of South Africa’s most well-known holiday destinations and is proud of their beautiful beaches. The house is situated in a very quite cul-de-sac on a hill overlooking the town and the sea.

Holidaymakers enjoy the peaceful atmosphere away from the noisy holiday flats on the beach. It takes only 3 minutes to the beach by car. We do provide a shuttle service for guests who come by plane or by bus at a minimal cost.

FACILITIES
Lounge and dining area. These 2 rooms with their wooden ceilings have a lot of character and is a popular place for visitors to get to know each other. The lounge has a 74cm TV for those who want to watch sport or a movie with other visitors. A Mnet and DSTV decoder is available if you want to bring your own card. A VCR and DVD player is also available.

Family Room.

This room is on the ground floor and consists of 2 Bedrooms, one for the parents and one for the children with 2 single beds. It has its own bath, washbasin and toilet. The Parents room is fully equipped with TV, linen, towels, kettle and cups and the children’s with linen and towels.

Africa Room.

This room is for visitors who want a taste of Africa and who enjoy a beautiful sea view. It is on the first floor and has its own shower, washbasin and toilet and is fully equipped with TV, linen, towels, kettle and cups.

Sea View Room.

This room is for visitors who enjoy the sea life and a beautiful sea view. It is on the first floor and has its own shower, washbasin and toilet and is fully equipped with TV, linen, towels, kettle and cups.

Honeymoon Room.

For the lovers. Also on the first floor, this room has a lovely cast iron bed and has a full on-suite bathroom with bath and shower and is fully equipped with TV, linen, towels, kettle and cups

The Hut

This is for people who enjoy the outdoors. The Hut is situated right next to the swimming pool with its own private braai area. It has its own shower, washbasin and toilet and is fully equipped with TV, linen, towels, kettle and cups. (Many Honeymoon couples prefer this room because it is away from the rest)

Pool and Braai area.

This is set in a tropical garden. Our visitors have a great time around the pool. They can use the braai and the pool whenever they want. We also have a lovely “Boma” in the bush where visitors can sit around the campfire. Bring your own darts for great competition.

Kitchen.

Only staff members use the kitchen, but our visitors are welcome to keep their meet or drinks in the fridge. Meals can be ordered. Please take note we are not a self-catering establishment.

Hospitality.

A large percentage of our clients come back on a regular basis. Their reason…….the hospitality and the food. Our Guest House is informal and guests enjoy the homely atmosphere. (a home away from home) People can’t stop talking about the food. Our dinners cost you half the price you will pay at a restaurant and you can eat as much as you want. When our guests’ leave, they do not leave as clients only, they leave as friends.

Smoking & Alcohol.

According to the new laws, we may not allow smoking inside the house, but Guests are welcome to smoke anywhere outside the house. We are not licensed to sell alcoholic drinks, but Guests are welcome to bring their own.
